South Croatian

South Croatian coast and Dalmatia is a geographic region on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea. It covers an area of about 11 960 km2, and the coastal strip has a length of about 400 km. Today the term refers to the Dalmatia region of the island of Pag to Konavli, and Cape Ostro in the south. In the Dalmatian sea, without the Pag island, located 926 large and small islands. Bigger and better known islands are: Pag, Dugi Otok, Kornati, Hvar, Brac, Korcula, Vis, Lastovo, Apple and Brusnik, Mljet and Peljesac peninsula.
